Savanah turned 13, I now have TWO teenage daughters. SO yes I regularly hide in my room eating chocolate taking deep breathes. Instead of cake she wanted an Edible Arrangementand the tulips are from her 6th Grade angel of a teacher for her Alice in Wonderland School play.
We wanted to spend some time doing something that speaks to Savanah's interests. We have an artist district in Seattle, called the Fremont district. We visited the Troll under the Fremont Bridge, and then went to Alki Beach in West Seattle. Savanah wanted to have hotdogs and a fire on the beach and this was the closest that allowed it. Unfortunately by the time we arrived at 2 people had already 'staked' out the firepits for the evenings. So we played a bit and went home to roast the hotdogs in our ghetto firepit in the backyard.
