HERES.............Louie Muffin Humperdink

or  Freckles.  LOL Our little trip to Utah we planned to go to a big family reunion, take Lynetter a daybed and bunkbed we had outgrown, and leave Jynx with the Chesnut family for a few months as a trial run for them because they are considering adding a furry four legged friend to the family.  Instead we picked up another dog.  HOW did this happen?  I was about to happily leave our dog behind along with all the dog poop and responsibility. D@#* it.  We took Jynk to get a grooming (in anticipation of leaving him behind) a lady was selling cocker spaniel our of her truck in the parking lot.   I said, " oh look at his freckled, isn't he cute?" Katelyn fell in love.  But the answer was no.  Katelyn took her phone # and we moved on, went to lunch hoping the kids would forget about the puppies and we could move along with our plan.  There was much discussion about responsibility and I was not paying for another dog.  She begged to pay for it and promised to full responsibility.  I felt she was sincere, she was going to use her own money, and she called the breeder to find out if she would come down a little off the price.  She agreed to Katelyn's deal and we couldn't get there fast enough.  She had her heart set on the puppy she picked out earlier, but didn't know if he was still available.  He actually was. That is how we found Freckles.

I however was NOT going to yell out my door for all the neighbors to hear, and introduce to all our friends the name Freckles.  It is just a little too "cute" for me.  this puppy was going to get older and needed a real name.  He was Willy for a few weeks, but Katelyn has some kind of aversion to any kind of form to the name Willy.  She was pretty darn mad to say the least that I was calling her dog Willy, and rightfully so. But (what I really believe, as Dr. Phil would interpret 'but means) I am too darn stubborn and I am not calling Freckles to come in, sit down, or ANYTHING!  So I though long and hard about something new.  Jamie actually suggested, in jest, Louie. and I quite like it..... very much.  So Louie answers to both names, and no harm done.
MUFFIN because he is "soft and fluffy.... on the inside. and HUMPERDINK well for the G rated version lets just say he LOVES his toys that squeek!  ROTFLOL  :)
