After six months with a learner's permit Katelyn was finally brave enough to take the written exam mid-October. She passed that test without any trouble, but the next available drive test opening in NOV 17 at 10:30am. LOL it was a long 3 week wait. It was raining this morning, and we headed out early so we wouldn't be rushed. Katelyn was instructed to wait in a specially designated spot for the tester. She called me two separate time from her 'spot' freaking out. The first time she wanted some pointers on backing around a corner. The next phone call was a panick about parallel parking. I tried to keep it lighthearted and convince her that she was going to do just fine; relax and it was going to be fine.
Well I got to watch her leave the parking lot and the first maneuver was that backing around a corner... and she clipped the curb, OOPS! Now I was a little worried. Turns out she failed only parrellel parking and backing around a corner, but passed enough that she is legal to drive amongst us. SO, you have all been warned..........
