ARIZONA and home again

LONG overdue! We have some of our dearest friends in AZ and it has taken far too long to get back for a visit only because it is 30 hours of drive time or $400 for an airline ticket EACH.  So we were already in Utah for a couple weeks and Jamie was transitioning between jobs so we had nowhere to be anytime soon so we headed south.

Dan and Garrett picked up right where they left off.

Savanah 'ran away' from home one day when she was little and told us that this rock was where she decided to call her new bed.

we took a different route home through the Grande Canyon: Fredonia to Kanab and found thise fabulous rock formation that use to be dwellings for people. I love just pulling over to explore interesting finds on our road trips. It is my favorite part of traveling in a car.
