Every single one of the kids tried and almost got away this morning without my catching them. I knew I was going to have to be on my toes. They are getting older now and I suppose it just isn't cool anymore. Katelyn and Savanah are in seminary this year together, which means getting up at 5AM to make it to class at he church house by 6:10AM; school starts at 7:30 so they carpool a few others from class to the high school Garrett catches the bus at 6:45AM for a 7:30 start. They are all at the high school together. Savanah and Garrett are at Renaissance School or Art and Reasoning which is house in one wing of the high school. It will be nice to have them in one school this year as oppose to last year. three different places and schedules. that was a bit crazy, trust me.
When Garrett walked out the front door I was a little taken back, he all of a sudden looked like a teenager. so much bigger/older than just the night before.
I had to chase Katelyn to the car. she wasn't going to let me take any pictures. Once I admitted for her that she was feeling pretty 'cool' about driving to school all by herself, she cracked a smile and let me have a couple shots. She spent some valuable time the night before carefully choosing cd's for the 3 minute trip to the school parking lot.
