how do you kill some free time and create good family time..... the answer is NickelMania on State Street in Murray, Ut. We flew to Utah for Christmas and Gpa and Gma Mission Farewell. we stayed the night we arrived in SLC. I get really tired easy lately, and at the time was just beginning to come through a bad MS attack. We didn't want to push my luck and have to pay the price for 3 days after. Arrival day we played it REALLY low key and went to dinner and lights see the lights on Temple Square, we hadn't been there as a family since Garrett was probably 2. the next day we slept in and made it to lunch and then found this arcade. admission is only 99¢ then you just buy $2 bags of nickels. there are all kinds of games old, retro, and new. I found a little fun game that you have to find your way through a maze with your finger. I like mazes so I really got into it. I didn't ever win..... at least not this trip. On our return trip to SLC to fly home we came back to the arcade and I played again and WON! lots and lots of tickets, unfortunately all the prizes are pretty stupid, but that wasn't the point. :D

| this machine in Deseret Book was rigged to make it look like it was making fresh gingerbread cookies. Jamie "sold" it to Katelyn and she took it hook-line- and-sinker. LOL |
