Garrett turned 12 in February. It is the age in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where you may submit yourself worthy to your clergy to receive a temple recommend. With this recommendation and your faith and worthiness you may enter the temple and perform baptisms for family that did not have the opportunity for baptism while on the earth. The deceased ancestor may accept or decline the ordinance performed. We consider it a sacred role and service to offer this opportunity for all Heaven Fathers children to have the chance to enjoy His cleansing water of baptism. The temple is a sacred house of our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ here on earth; the most holy and pure place on earth. It symbolizes heaven; so having our family worthy and attending the temple together is a momentus occasion and a wonderful milestone to experience this first time and hopefully many many more times to come.
