We realistically celebrated all month! COmedian Tim Hawkins made us laught until we cried. We had dinner in Bellevue on a little lake at the Crab Pot and ended it all in Portland running and getting colored bombed. It's hard to believe it been 20 years. and It's been 20 yeas!!! Old people are married that long, funny thing is I don't feel old at all. My health tricks me into thinking and acting like it sometimes but I fight it as much as possible. Jamie isn't big into excercise routines but i have to have a plan and something to look forward to. If it can be fun and a little less than the norm, it is perfect for me. I don't like running much. I wish I liked it. I want to want to love it. So I force myself when opportunity arises. The end of September we ran a 5k. Portland was hosting a Color Run. Runners wear white and costumes are encouraged! so far sounds fun right? at 1k markers volunteers and staffers toss color powder on runners as they pass through the check point. each one is a different color. we got pink, yellow, orange, blue. It all comes out hair and clothes eventually :) we got runner bibs, sweatbands, fanny pack, and a whole lot of fun. I LOVE LOVE LOVED it. and i surprised myself running the entire race. This is bigger than you know, last August i had an MS attack which left me numb from the waist down and a year later my feet still have some numbness and I have lost 30% of my strength in both legs. As long as i am able to move, walk, run I am doing it. We did it together. Just a nice metaphor to our lives and marriage. We have lived most of our marriage away from any family so we have never gone away alone. This was no exception we raced with Garrett and Savanah. they ran it much faster. It was a perfect morning with a gentle breeze and overcasting clouds. :)
