Joining the ranks.

Okay,  so I have tried to avoid joining the blog trend for awhile.  I have always thought that it was just an opportunity for others to be voyeurs, and even worse to me is that no one has to emotionally invest in any relationship anymore.  If you can catch up with me via the computer then why on earth would you call or ever come visit.
However, I am seeing the value in blogging as a way of keeping a family history and that has value to me.  I have no idea how any of this is going to pan out but I am going to give it a whirl

What's everyone laughing about?

7557611everyone is laughing because I really hated the idea of blogging. I mean really, and everyone who did blog I thought was stupid. ! why would you want people to just be voyeurs of your life. I want people to have to invest a little into to me and in return they get the priviledge to know me, and I them. Blogging seems like a cop-out for the best things in life. I want to know people not just what they are doing. .....and yet here I am. The value is in the family history keeping. it is more fun with comments. thanks and sorry for not commenting sooner:)

Couldn't just do a regular shmegular blog eh? had to get it all pimped out with custom templates and widgets with a little love from Jamie? Fine! Be that way!

Well, we've always found that if you're going to do something you should do it well.

I'm glad you're bogging, and i promise to still call and write. But honestly would I ever have known about your atempts for Jamie's birthday if not for the blog?? That's why I like 'em, I learn more than I normally would through the infrequent phone calls.

Hey Leighann! It was fun to get the update on your family all the way here in Ann Arbor. Thanks! When I finally break down and start my own, I'll have to get your secrets on making it look cool. ;)

Hope everyone is doing great!
