We have been having some beautiful weather lately. I mean really. Upper 50 degree temps, sometimes 60's; sunny and blue skies. We have wasted a few and Jamie and I thought we would take advantage today since we are forecasted for rain tomorrow. :( We both looked through a great reference book we came across when we moved here "Best Hikes with KIDS"
we chose an "easy hike" so we could take the dog too. this is one of my favorite things to do especially as a family. Wish you could have joined us. Here is how much fun we had........

Ride 'em cowboy. I have pleasent memories of a few hikes we went on as a kid. This looks like a good one. Nathan says (with a huge grin) that's dumb. I know secretly he would love to be on the tree limb ridin' too.
How FUN!!! I love going on "easy" hikes! Can't wait for this Utah weather to warm the heck up!!!
Looks like a super-dee-dooper good time to me. It's the little things that crack me up. I'd have been laughing my head off. I need to find something like that around here. There's got to be something, right?
How fun!!! Andrew and I want to do something like that when we come up next. We like that kind of family time.
Lori, I think the only trees you might have left in San Diego are the orchards... and I don't think they'd appreciate any kind of teeter-tautering. LOL
but you could move here :)
