1. Who was your FIRST prom date?
Ethan Colburn a young man I met on a summer stay at my sisters in WI. He was in college at Ricks so he had to make special effort for me, including going back to high school.
2. Do you still talk to your FIRST love?
Well that depends, first crush, Paul Marchant in 3rd grade, he had no idea. Ethan Colburn was first puppy love and yes we send an occasional e-mail.
3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?
Never had one, ever. :)
4. What was your FIRST job?
First job really was smashing those potato bugs in our garden 1¢ each.
When we returned from Africa my dad signed up for Deseret Newspaper Route and me and younger siblings did this every weekend morning for several years. Gave us an opportnity to clip coupons on Sunday mornings and file UPC codes from those coupon purchases that daddy saved in order to get the "free" stuff offers.
5. What was your FIRST car?
Orange Chevy Vaga --my big brother Roger gave it to me after he no longer needed it for his military leave. That was so much fun!! THANKS Roger!!!!!
6. Who was the FIRST person to text you today?
no TXT yet probably going to be Katelyn, she usually checks in after school.
7. Who is the FIRST person you thought of this morning?
Katelyn --time for seminary is VERY early and dark! :( oh how I wish there was release time like when I was in hs.
8. Who was your FIRST grade teacher?
Mrs. Ward -loved her. She showed the class my writing sheet and said, "doesn't she write like a typewriter?" I was so proud. :)
9. Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?
Africa! the first stop was NYC and we sat on the runway that evening until early morning waiting to take-off. WE didn't get served dinner until wee hours of the morning. I only remember this because Lynette and I begged for a hamburger in the airport and were told we could wait to eat on the airplane. Ensuring us that was going to be soo much better and cheaper. LOL
10. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?
Shelly Facer my next door neighbor. She was older than me by a year and we wrote a few letter back and forth while I was in Africa but we were never really friends again. Next I saw of her was when we were in HS together. I still think about her though.......
11. Where was your FIRST sleep over?
I have no idea about the FIRST, but the first I can recall this morning is when we slept over at the McEvoy's house in Africa. I was still wetting the bed at 10 yo and was extrememly nervous about the potential embarrassing situation...... so I had NOTHING to drink from dinner time on. It was a dry night....PHEW!!
12. Who was the FIRST person you talked to today?
Katelyn to wake her for Seminary. Savanah and Garrett......".HOT BREAKFAST READY!" Nothing earth shattering or meaningful, but good nonetheless.
13. Whose wedding were you in the FIRST time?
My sister, Louise... I had a special dress; so does that mean I was "IN IT"?
14. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?
opened the shade to check for snow..... hoping for a late start school day. NADA!
15. What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?
I was in lots of band concerts as a clarinet player. I went to a professional concert after I was married in Park City, Canyons. to see Chicago. It rained !
I wanted to go to Def Leopard with my friend Traci in HS, but my mom refused to give permission. Probably a good call at the time, but I thought is was unreasonable.
16. FIRST tattoo?
Never had one of these either, not even a stick on. I am a little compulsive about being clean. the stick on just start to peel and lood terrible, same reason I don't like painted findernails. only looks good for a day then it is all shot to h*@l.
17. FIRST piercing?
Mom made me wait until I was 12......and then she took me and Lynette to the mall and got our ears done together. NOT FAIR she didn't have to wait until 12.
18. FIRST foreign country you've been to?
Somalia, Africa. We stopped in Frankfurt Germany, to change planes. Stopped in Egypt too but never got off the plane.
19. FIRST movie you remember seeing?
some rounchy movie with lots of skin and kissing at K-7 Marine Compound. The first one I enjoyed was E.T. same place.
20. When was your FIRST detention?
I was kicked out of Trig class my Jr. year in hs for talking during roll call! Went to counselor and got an extra hour of office aid for the year since there was not another option for Trig.
That was okay by me; turns out that teacher was fired for inappropriate stuff with students in later years anyway. LOSER!
21. What was the FIRST state you lived in?
Virginia, but moved to UTah when I was less than 2.
22. Who was your FIRST roommate?
besides a sloo of sisters, I moved in with my BFF Desirae Nelson after hs for first semester of college, then I bought a contract from some girl for my first apartment wit RM Dianna ??? she was sweet.
23. If you had one wish. What would it be?
I didn't have health issues.
24. What is something you would learn if you had the chance?
I have a wish list....piano, violin, skiing, a language... any language it sounds so beautiful to me

25. What about the first time your were pulled over by a police officer?
I was 17, take the Hyde Park road to Logan....going a little, tinesy bit fast. I missed a stop sign in my panic to pull over quickly and only got ticketed for the speeding. that was a sad lesson to PAY for, i was only working for $3.?? and hour at McDonalds, but I learned a good lesson. Only one speeding ticket since.....that is pretty good right? :)

does this mean you learned not to speed, or did you figure out how to not get caught? I RARELY ever speed and when I do, I get caught. I prefer not to spend my money on tickets, so I'd rather just be late if I'm caught behind on time.
I consistently go 5 mph over....... so technically I am still speeding. So I guess I am good at not getting caught. LOL
