We had two concerts this week. Garrett's 4th grade Music Program and Katelyn 3rd quarter band concert. Katelyn has informed us that she is not taking band next year, so that she can take as many science classes as possible, making a better impression for Dental School. I have such fond memories of my band experience and I always get to step back a little when I go watch her. Garrett's Music teacher worked with the students and recorders. They sang a little and played a little. I didn't know Garrett knew so many songs on the recorder, because I think we only heard his favorite song over and over and over and over and over for 3 weeks straight. LOL

Say it isn't so....Katie not going to pursue music anymore...she is going to be "one of those" people that just go and quit when it gets good...lol. I hope she likes whatever it is she ends up doing and finds great friends who make great choices with her.
