Katelyn is going to be a 4th year camper in YW this year. That means she gets to go overnight backpacking for 3 days 2 nights. So in preparation the leaders have scheduled 3 hikes. This is the first one, and I was invited to go. I love hiking so I jumped at the chance. We are lucky to have this within 30 minutes of our home. The view was fabulous, and I was frustrated that the rest of the family wasn't with us. The trail was a little steep but dry, and it was a cool Spring day, the tree canopy shaded the trail all the way. The view was spectacular.

lucky you to hike in the nice weather! Here YW doing the hikes are terrible! We have been suffering over 100 degree for the past 2-3 weeks! UGH! Glad you are enjoying Seattle. :)
