I've kinda been on a blogging hiatus. My camera has become terribly inconvenient. THe door to the 4 batteries has finally broken. I have been able to rig it closed for about a year now, but no more. in order to take the picture of my last blog I had to hold the batteries in place, adjust the zoom, and push the button at the same time; all while holding the camera. Let's just say it's tricky and no fun. I spoke with Santa and mentioned the problem. ;)

They have the coolest Nikon out now...it is like mine only it will take video too...I would highly recommend it considering your photography skills and likes...check out any of the Nikon D90 series and above.
I wish! that is a bit out of the budget right now considering all the other things we need and want at the moment. I have my eye on a Canon and the Nikon. Every time I go to Costco there it is, calling my name. Begging me to develop my talents..... :)
I'm looking for a camera too. We've saved a couple hundred dollars but I can't find just what I want. I want an underwater camera with great zoom. I found an underwater camer with 12 mp, I could do that and just crop my pictures. The underwater cameras are virually indestructable. Made to be 30 feet under water, dropped, and survive...I just wish it had better zoom.
