One of my favorite flowers, even though they do not smell sweet the intense color is amazing. These farms sell the bulbs come Sept/Oct so they cut the flowers off the preserve the bulbs. Fields and fields of tulips. we tried to get on a bike tour but it was already full, so we just drove, it was fine but the bikes would have been more fun. I don't like the color pink and there were so many pink tulips the kids were teasing me "look at the precious pink, mom" my favorite colors are purple and red.
