18 years ago today....

18 years old this morning I threw-up. I only remember because it was my wedding day. LOL I was so nervous. I was only 19 my groom was 22 and we thought we were so mature. Our first date was February 14, 1992. Jamie invited me to be his date to the Institute's Fraternity Valentine's dinner at Zanavoo Lodge up Logan Canyon. we started the night off my going to a friends wedding reception, that might have been a foreshadowing our future. Jamie had been helping me withe my math 105 class, the most failed class on campus. We studied math almost everyday so naturally it lead to a date and a quick engagement by April 17th. Jamie seemed to know what he wanted, I on the other hand wanted to date more than 3 guys in my dating career. But in order to do that he said he was going to date other girls too. Well I didn't want that, I figured he could just wait for me since he knew I was the one for him. After all I just want to have some fun. It lasted for all of about a week. I choose Jamie! Jamie had a summer job already lined up in Michigan so the wedding was planned for Sept. 5 a few days after he got back to Utah. It was the longest summer EVER!!!

So now that it has been 18 years, it seems like so long ago. I have almost know Jamie as long as I lived at home with my parents. But when I look at my wedding pictures in a way I feel like the same young girl ready for whatever lies ahead because I am IN LOVE. Happy Anniversary, Honey and hears to at least another 40! :)

What a fun walk down memory lane. Even though it did make you throw up.

I am seriously thinking maybe I should go private. being spied on feels insulting....

Except then you have to authorize people...and that doesn't mean they'll actually leave any comments when reading your posts anyway. It would keep all the creepy people away though....

Happy anniversary!

We've done public and private. Definite pros and cons either way. Public I don't have to hear the whining from people who cannot access the blog - either because they weren't invited (your list is restricted to 100 viewers) or because they can't remember their passwords. Private is nice because, as you say, you don't have to worry about the creepy people seeing your blog. Please invite us if you decide to go private!

Hope you had a wonderful anniversary! So glad to know you! I love seeing people growing more in love with time.
