Jamie and I have lived away from family, out of our home states most of our married lives together. So not familiar with the area's we live and no real source of the secret sweet spots to check out. After we missed some opportunity living in Arizona we decided we could make our stay in Washington state different. Last summer we did lots of camping almost every weekend, and we had a blast. This summer we were a little short on weekends but we found a sweet spot!
Last year I signed up for a free and online coupon offer company called Groupon
The Daily Groupon | Coupons, Discounts, and Deals on the Best in Seattle. Awesome offers. Last year I got Katelyn flying trapeze lessons for her 16th birthday, half price Nutcracker Ballet tickets, and this year half priced 3-hour Sea Kyak Tour. IT WAS THE BOMB!! absolutely beautiful day and stunning bay. Jamie's nephew, Tyler flew in from Michigan so we could fill 3 tandem kyaks. 2 tour guides had the patience of angels, and were great teachers. We paddled along the rock cliffs and got to check out some caves. we saw seastars, jellyfish, and seals. Jamie lost his sunglasses in the Bay somewhere now. An the only unpleasantness about the trip was another boat in our group that got sea sick and barfed in the water and then Garrett and I had to paddle through the 'chunks' to get into the most awesome cave.

That looks SO fun. I am certain the pictures don't do it justice!
definately not! I had the "real " camera in a dry bag and only took it out a couple of times. I was too afraid of dropping it. I already lost a camera to the ocean before and it was real inconvenient. LOL besides I had to keep up with the group by paddling my partner was Garrett so ya know I was pretty much the power. :)
