Jamie has looking at banjo for awhile now. He and Garrett want to play together and apparently it is easier to teach when you don't have to pass the banjo back and forth. Garrett is practicing strumming and I am excited for him to learn something new..... LOL :)
Katelyn went to a Jazz Ensemble with her high school band last year and was inspired by a soprano sax player she heard. She asked an asked for lesson an instrument and we found a great deal online. The fingering is pretty close to clarinet so she has picked it up pretty fast. so much that her teacher is impressed and she has already done through 2 books in 6 months.
