Lagoon

 It our pilgrimage.   As a child my dad would take our family of 10 at the time to Lagoon. We would spend all day Saturday open to close.  Picnic on the grass with two cooler full of food and drink.  It is one of the childhood traditions that has great memories.  I don't know what the modern equivalent would be for the money my dad had to fork out to take us, but in the day it was a small fortune.  we lived VERY frugal and this was definitely a splurge.  I love to share my family traditions and good memories with my children.  they will never love it for what it gave me, but I have happy all the same.
