| My 'special' VIRGIN mango margherita |
This little gem of a restaurant is worth risking your life in the sketchy part of Phoenix. IT is very small, but everything is authentic and delicious. the kind of meal where you are just happy to be alive and you don't worry about calories or what to order because you are just happy eating whatever come to the table. Started out with the guac, it is made table side absolutely fresh, and yep those are pomegranate seeds; weird i thought but it is a perfect sweet to the spice. the other first was my mango margarita. i ordered virgin, BUT that is not how it was served to me, and unfortunately i didn't even notice until the third or fourth big suck of the straw and gave it to Jamie. DUH! note to self fruity drinks should not have a 'bit' or smell of cleaning chemicals, not need for a second opinion. So, Garrett and Savanah got to witness their mother's first sip of alcohol...... and it was nasty! the photo is of my newly refreshed VIRGIN mango margarita. It was delicious.
